After six years in the United States Navy (Nuclear Power), Fr. Brad attended Birmingham-Southern College and Cranmer Theological House. As a deacon, Fr. Brad served St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Jacksonville, FL. In the summer of 2001, Fr. Brad was made a priest and moved his family to Memphis, TN, where he became the founding priest of St. James Church, a mission of the Reformed Episcopal Church (REC). In 2004, while serving as vicar of St. James Church, Fr. Brad became the founding priest of St. Timothy's Church (REC) in Jonesboro, AR. For six months he traveled back and forth each week, pastoring both parishes. In July of 2005, Fr. Brad became the first full-time priest for St. Timothy's Church, and the Rev. Keith Boettner became St. James' vicar. Fr. Brad sees himself as a "missionary priest" and enjoys the work of starting new missions. Fr. Brad and his wife Diana have been married for 12 years. They have four children (three daughters and a son). |
