Fr. Rusty holds degrees from Southern Methodist University (B.S., 1981), Nashotah House (M.Div., 1984) and Harvard Law School (J.D., 1989). He was ordained deacon in Dallas in 1984 and priest in Central Florida in 1995 and has served parishes in Dallas, Plano; Malden, Massachusetts; Tampa, and Lakeland, Florida. Currently he is on staff at Christchurch, Montgomery, Alabama (Sebei Diocese, Church of Uganda), where the Lord has called him since 1998. Fr. Rusty has been actively involved in teaching, preaching, small group ministry, special renewal events, and mission. He has a heart for Israel and the sojourner and has led his parish’s Healing Prayer ministry. A firm believer in praying in the power of the Holy Spirit, Fr. Rusty seeks more and more intimacy with Jesus. He is married to Alice, and they have two boys, Tripp (age 18) and A.C. (age 13). |
