Jeffrey A Garrety holds a BBA, MBA, and Law degree from The University of Memphis, and has been a practicing attorney since 1978. He was president of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers' Association in 1992 and has been a Member of Advisory Commission to Tennessee Supreme Court on Rules of Evidence and Procedure since 1992. He is married and has two daughters. Jeff serves as Rector's Warden and Finance Ministry Chair at All Saints Anglican Church, Jackson, TN, Anglican Church of Kenya, Diocese of Thika. He was active in following the Holy Spirit in the founding of All Saints Anglican Church in February 2004. He has 12 years of vestry experience in a variety of roles and positions, as well as a heart for Christian formation, having served 15 years in Bible teaching ministry and being involved for over 19 years in weekly Bible studies under wonderful and gifted facilitators and teachers. He has served at the diocesan level on committees including constitution and canons. He was appointed by Bishop Gideon Githiga as Chancellor for the American parishes under the oversight of The Diocese of Thika, Anglican Church of Kenya. |
